Prom was so much fun!!!

A night we’ll always remember.

I thought graduation day would never get here, and then all of a sudden, it was here! I kept wanting school to be over, but then when it was, I was sad. I looked back at all of my friends standing there and realized it would never be like this again.

My bestie, Janine, and I reliving old high school memories while waiting for the graduation ceremony to start.

While we were sitting there waiting for the ceremony to begin, my brother Tony and I exchanged looks – this is really happening! We’re both happy and a little sad and nostalgic before we’re even completely out of high school! Okay, mostly happy, though. I mean, no more tests–ever!!

Graduation’s over. Booyah! I’m outta here.

1.1D Nick and Izumi’s Wedding

My brother Nick is engaged to the Izumi Fujita who works at the city library. Before they started going out, he would go to the library and borrow books all the time just to have an excuse to talk to her. He checked out so many books in those few weeks, haha.

The wedding is today! My brother Tony and I are in the ceremony.

The wedding and reception were held at the garden of the local museum, known as The Muses. So pretty! Notice in the background how many drinks Nick is holding. Hopefully one is for his bride and they’re not both for him!

1.1C High School

Back in school. Ugh. Why? I already know everything. And the excitement of wearing new school outfits wore off after the first week, so now it’s basically pointless to be here.

Everyone has a boyfriend except for me. That’s Janine Lane, my best friend and my brother Tony’s girlfriend. On the other side of me is her brother Beau. I used to think of him as just some annoying kid, but lately, I’ve been noticing  him. Like noticing that he’s kind of cute.

I’m not sure, but I think he has been noticing me, too.

Computer lab is the most chaotic class. The teacher has zero control over the room. Which is why it’s my favorite class, haha.

Alexander Goth is another boy at my school who is kind of cute. Those clothes, though. If we ever went out, I’d have to give him a makeover of course.

That moment when you sit down to take a test and immediately forget everything you ever learned, including the most basic, simple stuff.

Okay so, Beau asked me out!!!!!

We ended up going to the park.

It was the most perfect date ever.

Until my dad just happened to show up at the same place. Are you kidding me?? Fortunately, this didn’t scare Beau away, and we eventually ended up being exclusive. Yay, I have a boyfriend!

1.1B Room Tour

Okay, so now that I’m a senior, my room desperately needs an update. I cannot live like this anymore!! I still want it to be girly, I just don’t want it to be little girly. KWIM? For my birthday, my dad gave me a room makeover. Here are the before and after pics:

1.1A Meet the Family

Hi! I’m Elise Davenport. This is where you’ll usually find me in the middle of the night: at my computer, writing stories and articles. When I grow up, I want to move to the city and become a writer.

It’s the last day of summer (sigh). A bunch of us went down to the Willow Creek public pool to enjoy our last day of freedom.

That’s my big brother Tony. We tell everyone we’re twins even though we’re not. We were born 1 year apart, to the day. Tony was held back a year from starting kindergarten, so we started school at the same time. Even some of our closest friends don’t even know we’re not twins.

My dad (Bob) is a single dad and a great dad. He always makes us a birthday cake by hand…never store-bought. It’s kind of his thing.

My dad owns his own sporting goods supply firm, so he can make his own hours. My brother, Nick, is his VP. Nick is older. The whole family is super into working out.

And eating. We’re all super into eating. A lot. Haha.

Well, that’s the family. School starts tomorrow, so maybe I should go to bed early…..nah. Oh, and if you think my room is cute, then don’t because I’m totally changing it in, like, a week. Room tour posting soon!
